The Conversion Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining work orders and job tickets. Assist in production planning and scheduling lines.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Data entry of game theme conversions
  • Understanding bill of materials including parts and software
  • Create bill of materials for game conversions.
  • Testing and verification of game conversion software
  • Assist with the creation of work orders and job tickets to support production line.
  • Assist with production of game build when available.
  • Program bill validators and printers based on jurisdictional requirements.
  • Testing of game build after the assembler has finished the game build.
  • Pre QC of the game build during testing of the game.
  • Attention to detail
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

            EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree or technical school diploma preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and gaming industry experience

            REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one year of related experience
  • Additional experience with databases and production control software is highly desirable
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with strict deadlines and pressure from both internal and external demands is advantageous

  • Strong written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Ability to work independently either individually or within a team structure with minimal direction
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills and good follow-through required
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail. Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assigned duties are accomplished primarily in an office/production setting.  Must be able to maneuver around an office/production setting, work at a desk/workstation and respond to written and oral cues
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office/production equipment
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • May be required to bend, reach and lift up to 25 lbs.
